Join us at 5:30 pm on Thursday 5 December 2024 for the launch of the Australasian Association of Private International Law (AAPrIL). A welcome by Prof Mary Keyes will be followed by addresses:
👨⚖️ The Hon. Andrew Bell, Chief Justice of the New South Wales Supreme Court (pre-recorded); and
👨⚖️ The Hon. David Goddard, Judge of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand (via Zoom).
The event will be both in person at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Melbourne and online. This is a free event.
AAPrIL was founded in 2024 by private international lawyers from Australia and New Zealand who have known one another for years through engaging with the discipline of private international law. The aim of the AAPrIL is to bring together people committed to furthering the understanding of private international law in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.
